Day 10: ADT 2025

Some great trail time today and even more expected on Tuesday, but still no break in the weather. Nothing like being soaked for 5+ days.

Despite my puffy allergy eyes, I can see such a mix of communities: seemingly some haves, some have-nots, at least on the surface. But, let's not get too cemented in those thoughts. I talked to several people with tiny properties by the river who are loving their little slice of heaven. No surprise, though: the closer your property is to the river, the harder things can be to stay safe from flooding, and this recent rain is causing a decent amount of it.

Indiana has some truly spectacular forests (and even the American Discovery Trail has cleared sections sometimes :)). I know it was raining, but I've barely seen a soul when I'm in them. This makes me want to remind you to get out and explore!
