Day 11: ADT 2025

A beautifully muddy walk in the woods
Today was a reasonably dry day from above, but not from below in Hoosier National Forest. The mud made an already unmarked trail twice as difficult, but at least I kept myself entertained. :)
This was bushwhacking fun to the max. Trail maintenance is hard work and underfunded. There is so much for us all to explore out there. If you're feeling adventurous, take a second to either volunteer for trail cleanup or donate to those who do. It clears the way for more enjoyment when you hit the forests and state parks.
Thanks to Matthew Hengst (@mattonamtn) for posting such great, detailed content on YouTube about the ADT and to John Wesley Brett (@jwbrett) for keeping such detailed and up-to-date notes on the ADT and for being an info lifeline nearly every day. I don't know that I would have been as prepared for what I'm facing without both of you. I am here to return the favor at any time...you just tell me what you need.
