Day 5: ADT 2025

Today was Day 5. The body was starting to feel the continuous ~23 miles a day...something new it has never experienced before. Forgot my hat. Forgot my sunscreen. Ran into some traffic. Muggy, buggy. Guess what? That's what happens in long distance running. You never know what you're going to get.

That's why I include this key tip in my cross-country run speaking events: do things that are uncomfortable. On purpose.

Things happen. One choice you can make is to give up and fall apart. Another choice is to power through. Another choice is to grieve and then power through. And on and on. Your choices as to how you handle that are unlimited.

My recommendation is to vent about it...then move on! :)
