Well, we knew it was coming. Rain had threatened for a couple of days, but on Day 6, it came down with a vengeance. The day was spent mostly covered on the Clark State Forest trails, but enough came through that it soon became a mud bath. :)

I didn't see a soul out there for hours, except for some frogs and turtles. That was nice for the most part, until the storm hit its crescendo and I was hunkering down somewhere near a crest, looking for the lowest point to hide in. At that moment, I was over the lovely alone-time and looking for a hand to hold. Note to self: that's when I really needed to video...fun entertainment for all. LOL

Ended up doing about 3700 ft of gain and over 24 miles. I'll take it!
